Surgeons may prefer to use nasal packing after operations for 1 or 2 days. However, current packs are made of soft material and easy to remove. Even, plastic packs which have holes to allow nasal breathing, new generation packs have been used nowadays. And in some cases, the surgeon can use absorbable sutures in the nasal passages without packs.

There is no need to remove sutures after operation, all sutures are absorbable and they will be thrown out of the nose.
